Gate2Growth is a Danish advisory firm, incorporated in 2000, specializing in supporting innovative SMEs in business development and on funding issues. The staff has extensive experience in conducting business, financial and socio-economic analysis including business model and value-chain analysis. The services provided are based on in-depth knowledge of political processes, social and environmental issues, and relate to the innovation process, investor requirements and public funding requirements. Efficient on-line tools to support both investors and entrepreneurs are offered to its clients. The company has a broad industry experience partly from being partner in many EU projects and partly from servicing clients from all over Europe and from very different business and industry sectors. The experience covers sectors as diverse as ICT, Health Care, Social Services, Medical Devices, Food and Food Processing, Rural Development, Advanced Manufacturing and Clean Technology including the Water Sector, Biotech, New Materials, Transport, Energy, Mining and Raw Materials.

What they do

Gate2Growth has developed a range of online and offline tools (assessment tools and support tools) as well as guidance material and entrepreneur-targeted Master Classes, which are addressing all issues connected to business development, including business models, investor readiness, business planning, innovation financing. Recently, the accumulated experiences of the company have been summarized in the book written by the CEO, Uffe Bundgaard-Jørgensen, “How to Attract Investors – a personal guide to understanding their mindset and requirements” Pan-Stanford Publishing, 2016.

Role in project

Gate2Growth will lead tasks in DEEP PURPLE relating to economic assessment, market uptake and exploitation, with the aim of evaluating the economic feasibility of the DEEP PURPLE biorefinery concept and ultimately replicating it Europe-wide while securing successful commercialization for the products created from this process.
